Look out of our windows and see the lake, the foothills of the Alps and the Swiss Säntis massif on the horizon. Our hotel and guest house is located in the heart of Konstanz's old town and offers many excursion options that you can easily reach on foot or by bicycle. The Lake Constance harbour, the ‘Sealife’ marine aquarium and the Rhine are a 5-8 minute walk away.
The 32 rooms are located on the 1st to 4th floors (accessible by lift) of a historic building that was built in 1912. Classic hotel standards such as bath/shower, cable TV, WiFi and breakfast room make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. In the morning, you can look forward to our breakfast buffet with sausage and cheese platters, fresh rolls and croissants, coffee and tea specialities, various mueslis and jams, and much more.
Our lounge is a space for connoisseurs, elegantly and comfortably furnished, inviting you to linger and enjoy. With a selection of coffee and tea specialities as well as regional wines, you can leave everyday life behind. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Anyone spending a few days in Constance is spoilt for choice – there is so much to see! A trip to the flower island of Mainau is just as worthwhile as a visit to Conny-Land just across the border. Are you interested in life in Lake Constance, the Rhine, the North Sea and the Atlantic? Then you shouldn't miss the Sea Life Aquarium. Afterwards, you can take a stroll along the beautiful harbour or explore the historic old town. You can get a few virtual insights into Constance via webcam or an exciting film. You certainly won't get bored in Constance. The wide range of events on offer ensures that – did you know that the Constance Theatre is considered one of the best in Germany?
Those who enjoy hiking will love the proximity to Säntis – and afterwards, you can relax at the Bodenseetherme spa, which is easily accessible by bus line 5 or by car! Even more sporting activities are possible on the Lake Constance Cycle Route, for example – and after a delicious breakfast with us, it's twice as much fun!
