The restaurant and hotel Wieseneck is situated in the village of Kloster, which is the cultural centre of the island. Wieseneck is one of the oldest hotels on the island and has been restored with much love and fantasy.

The hotel has 17 rooms which have en suite bathrooms, telephone and TV.

The hotel also has a restaurant with mediterranean ambience. The regional and international food offers many alternatives for a healthy, holiday diet.

Our house lies 5 minutes away from the 15km long, sandy beach. From autumn to spring we also happily take conference and seminar bookings, and offer all the technical equipment and rooms neccessary.

The island of Hiddensee is often referred to as the island of Rügens "little sister", and offers the best possibilities to spend an idyllic, quiet, car-free and nature-related holiday. Hiddensee is attractive all year round and the many-sided landscape is just waiting to be discovered on foot or by bicycle.

A white, wide, maintained sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing and swimming, and nudism is allowed on many parts of the beach.

Hiddensee is also attractive during the cold parts of the year. One can observe rare animals and plants, huge flocks of migrating birds in spring and autumn, and the clear, stormy winters can be an experience for nature lovers.
