Welcome to our hotel Ludwig der Bayer Ettal. Close to the world-famous Olympic town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen the road leads into a pictuesque valley in the mountains of Werdenfels. Right at the entrance of the small community of Ettal the baroque dome of the basilica rises above the big monastery. Ettal is a well-known tourist attraction with many offerings both in summer and in winter. Oberammergau and the castle of Linderhof, ocated close by, attract additional tourist. It's a custom to stay in the Ludwig der Bayer when you are in Ettal. The hotel offers much comfort and good food. It's a place to relax - within a healthy mountainous country. Guests who like peace will always feel themselves at home in our hotel. In the middle of the bavarian alps surrounded by forrest and meadows is the village and monastery Ettal. The service is as old as the monastery.
