The historic building with its long family tradition dates back to 1777. Our aim is to make your stay in our country hotel an unforgettable experience. We will spoil you with award-winning cuisine, warm service, stylishly furnished rooms, a quiet and cosy terrace and a unique wellness house with winter garden, Finnish sauna, granite steam sauna, adventure grotto, relaxation garden and massages.

Culinary delights at their best

In our restaurant we recommend daily specialities, prepared for you with the best ingredients and the greatest care. The kitchen was rebuilt and remodelled in 2010. Patrick Rottmann and his crew work here 6 days a week. Our cooking style is characterised by classic French and creative cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences. We mainly use regional products such as meat from the Markgräflerland region and fruit and vegetables from local farmers. This results in award-winning cuisine day after day. We also serve wines from the best vineyards in the region. Warm sunny days in spring, summer or autumn are best enjoyed on our cosy sun terrace.

The day begins with an unusual breakfast buffet that fulfils the individual wishes of our guests. Homemade jams, seasonal fruit, selected cheese and sausage specialities, home-smoked wild boar ham, marinated vegetables and freshly baked bread rolls and croissants...
