Welcome to Cortijo Zalamea in Zalamea la Real!

Cortijo Zalamea is an old horse farm of 9 acres that has been transformed into 7 cottages. We have name them after local villages and painted them with the earth colour of the mines.

The air-conditioned villas at El Cortijo are decorated in cheerful colours and a mix of rural and African design. Each one has a well-equipped kitchen and a furnished veranda. Villas also have a lounge with TV and a fireplace. One free basket of firewood is provided. The cottages have verandas facing north and south, with a private terrace table and chairs for each cottage, and barbeque next to them.

At the swimming pool there is a thatched pavilion and another one for the car parking, there is also a horse paddock. The Cortijo denotes a certain African nostalgia where the owners lived for so many years.

Gardens, fountains, fruit trees and in other pieces of land there are horses and sheep grazing.

The Cortijo disposes of very comfortable accommodations with a very original and friendly taste and during your stay you will not forget to contemplate the fascinating sundowners, taking a swim in the swimming pool or just simply letting the time pass while you listen to the relaxing sounds of nature. You can also play a game on the paddle course.

The Sierra de Aracena Mountains are popular for hiking and cycling. The Cortijo can also arrange horse riding excursions. The beaches of the Costa de la Luz are 60 km away, while the UNESCO-protected Doñana National Park is 80 km away.
