Agriturismo TerraMMare is the one and only farmstay on the island of Capri. A place of unexpected charm, TerraMMare lies on the green slopes of Monte Solaro, surrounded by a patchwork of centuries-old woodland, vineyards, organic vegetable gardens, and fruit orchards. From here a magnificent view over the rooftops of Anacapri, the sea, and the islands of Ischia and Procida can be seen.

Years of careful restoration work which was carried out on a long-abandoned rural property, led to the creation of this charming little country hotel. The main building, faced with its original stone and brickwork, is home to the restaurant, suite and junior suite. The other rooms are located in the small dependance in the woods. Agriturismo TerraMMare has five bedrooms, three Standard, Junior Suites and Suites.

At Agriturismo TerraMMare guests are treated to the best of the island’s simple yet flavor-packed cuisine. Vegetables are grown in the organic kitchen garden. The meat originates from the fields where the farm’s free range pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and quail are raised.

Lunch and dinner are served on the large terrace, which has a view of the sea, or in the shade of the pretty, flower festooned pergola.

Agriturismo TerraMMare is located in one of the most panoramic parts of Anacapri, a peaceful little town which, compared to the glamorous Capri, has a refreshingly natural charm. The historic center of Anacapri is just a pleasant ten minute stroll away: here guests can wonder along the shop lined Via Capodimonte to reach Villa San Michele, built in the late 19th century by the Swedish physician and writer Axel Munthe and now a museum in which the doctor’s collection of archeological findings are displayed.

Only steps away from the farm stay, guests find the Migliera, a lane which winds its way through the woods and vineyards to the Belvedere del Tuono viewing point, from where a spectacular view of the sea, the Faraglioni and the lighthouse of Punta Carena can be seen.

The Grotta Azzurra, the center of Capri and the Piazzetta, the beaches of Marina Piccola and the port of Marina Grande are all just a breathtakingly scenic 15 minute bus of taxi ride away.
