This ancient estate nestled in the heart of the Maremma hills, makes old style hospitality its hallmark, along with the elegance of the Villa and the beauty of the surrounding nature.

On the estate is a perfectly preserved medieval village, and its historic buildings can accommodate up to forty guests, for unforgettable weddings and events.

For those looking for a peaceful and private place to spend their holiday with family or with friends on our vast 800 hectare sanctuary, the Tenuta also offers exclusive and completely renovated and modernized villas and apartments, which were once the old stone farmhouses of the estate. Each villa has private access with independent roads, and are equipped with swimming pool, heating, barbecue, television and a gated garden. Each residence has been furnished and decorated in traditional tuscan style.

At the Tenuta Mocajo restaurant, guests are warmly welcomed and served, with traditional tuscan and tuscan inspired cuisine using mainly local produce and ingredients carefully chosen by our chef. Many products come directly from our farm: extra virgin olive oil, wine, wild game, cured meats, Chianina beef and fresh vegetables picked daily from our gardens.

Mocajo provides guests with modern amenities, including: a swimming pool with panoramic views and bar, a fitness room, , quad bikes and mountain bikes for rent. The structure is equipped with air conditioning and wireless internet access.

The horse stables, are equipped for boarding, and have nine large enclosed stalls, surrounded by four paddocks, with ​​5 hectares of land, where the horses graze throughout most of the year. During periods of exceptionally cold or hot weather, you can take advantage of a closed box boarding. The horses are cared for daily, and are given great freedom of movement within the Tenuta’s private grounds.

The atmosphere of the Estate Mocajo will make your wedding unforgettable with its elegant and stately villa, beautiful views, all in perfect romantic Tuscan style. The bride and groom can take advantage of the Villa’s more than1,000 square meters, set in the vast open spaces overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany. The four old halls of the Villa are decorated with antique furniture and host banquets for up to 150 people: the Barricaia, the Sala delle Volte, the Sala degli Archi, and the Hall of Knights. The Chapel in the medieval village on the estate is the perfect way to celebrate a once in a lifetime event.
