Welcome to the wine-growing hotel Zum Saalbau (The Saalbau) and the Kinges-Kessel vineyard in Mörstadt!

We, the Kessel family of wine-makers, warmly invite you to visit us in the beautiful wine-growing village of Mörstadt, in the Rhinebend1 region of Rheinhessen,2 between Bingen, Mainz and Worms. Here the vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, interspersed with picturesque villages.

2Rheinhessen is a historical region. The people of Rheinhessen are a lively bunch who like to party, with plenty of wine, of course. At large tables where there is room for many and people like to move together for guests.

Above an old, still existing vaulted cellar, where wines mature into fine drops, 10 comfortable guest rooms, 2 apartments and 2 cosy holiday flats await you. They are equipped with all amenities (3-star comfort) and some have a balcony and terrace, offering you a magnificent view over our garden and the hilly landscape of Rheinhessen .

Relax in our idyllic garden, which invites you to take a deep breath and unwind with its sunbathing lawn, pond and a stream.

What could be better than to enjoy the evenings of a fulfilled day with a view of nature and a good bottle of wine in the flair of our winery? The splashing water and the chirping of birds as background music... ...holidays can be so beautiful!

We welcome you with Rhine-Hessian hospitality, connecting you with the landscape and its people. Spend cosy hours in a sophisticated, quiet atmosphere in our wine restaurant and ballroom. Enjoy our Mediterranean courtyard and let your day come to a close with Rhine-Hessian dishes and a good drop of wine.

Use the quiet and relaxing location of our winery to train your employees in a targeted and consistent manner. Bright rooms with daylight, internet access and standard conference technology are available on request to make your conference a successful event.

Of course, you also have the option of holding your training directly in the open air in summer, creating an even more motivating and creative environment for your participants.
