The Resort Santa Maria covers an area of 35,000 square meters, just a few kilometers from Tropea, behind the cliffs of Capo Vaticano. Located directly on the clear blue sea of Calabria, the resort is located in one of the most beautiful zones of the coast "Costa degli Dei". From the terrace, you have the possibility to enjoy a great view to the oriental coast of Sicily, the Aeolian Islands and the "smoking" Stromboli.

The beach is equipped with sus-umbrellas, sun-chairs and a lifeguard and consists of fine white sand, next to the crystal clear sea, with his different nuances of blue. The sea shapes a bay and seems to be a mirror made of colorful, always calm water.

The rooms of the Hotel Santa Maria Capo Vaticano are located in the central building of the resort. They are rooms on the ground floor, first floor and on the upper floors. Almost all rooms have sea view with balcony and patio. The equipment consists of wicker furnitures. The rooms have all the necessary comfort: Bathrooms with shower, aircondition in particular times, television, small fridge, safetybox, hairdryer & telephone.

The Tourist Village offers you the opportunity to choose the formula that best suits your needs. Thanks to the presence of 60 apartments, there is a choice between studios, apartments, houses and cottages. The rooms are furnished simple but at the same time are able to offer every comfort for a memorable holiday. The apartments have: Kitchenette placed in semi-enclosed porches, all the accessories needed for cooking. Each room is set in the shadow of a vast garden that makes it comfortable to rest even during the hottest hours of the day and is equipped with: table, chairs, drying rack, chairs, bed linen changed weekly & TV.

The kitchen is our passion: the menu, which varies constantly, combines the joy of good cuisine and the freshness of the ingredients of our country, savory appetizers, vegetables (seasonal), fish and meat. Our various types of cheese and sausages spoils also the more ambitious palates. (There is also the possibility to request special menus, if it's necessary.) Among of all the specialties that our kitchen has to offer, fish dishes and typical dishes with homemade pasta from Calabria, you can also find fileja (homemade noodles), with a spicy kind of sausage, which is one of the best and spiciest dishes our region for people who want taste a real piece of Calabria.
