We are three families living in Marmolada, a small hamlet near Falcade, the center of the local district. We’ve rent out apartments for years; now we’ve decided to collaborate to set up an “albergo diffuso”. “Borgate tra le malghe” is a new concept of hospitality, we want to let you enter our homes and feel the warmth of our families.

You can rent an apartment just for a few days or for weeks or months, but above all, you can choose to be free! If you want to do it yourself, in the apartments you will find everything you need to cook your meals; otherwise, if you want to get complete relax(ed?), you can book half or full board service at the agritourism “Piccola Baita”. Moreover, you can have a “Dolomitical” breakfast and then go and explore our wonderful Bios valley. What is better than family warmth and comfort, with the opportunity to be free?

The apartment Fochet is on the ground floor, so there are no stairs; it has an area of about 50 square meters, and there are 3 beds. Its furniture is classic, and it is perfect for a couple, or for a couple with a child, or for three friends. In the apartment you will find:

- Sitting room with TV - bedroom with double bed and single bed - bathroom with shower -

electrical appliances: hairdryer, washing machine, electric iron, oven, fridge, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner - hot-water-heat with radiators - kitchen with kitchenware - ski storage - wide garden area - barbecue - outdoor table and benches - (reclining) beach chairs - Wi-fi.

The apartment Lastei is on the ground floor; it has four beds and an area of about 65 square meters. Its furniture is typically alpine and it is very comfortable for families with 2 children or for groups of friends. In the apartment you will find:

- An hall - kitchen area - bright living room with sofa bed - double bedroom - bedroom with bunk bed - large bathroom with whirlpool shower - electrical appliances: hairdryer, washing machine, electric iron, oven, fridge, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner - independent underfloor heating system, with the possibility to set different temperatures in different rooms - LCD Television in the living room - Televisions in the bedrooms - Kitchen with kitchenware - possibility to take a sauna - ski storage - wide garden area

- barbecue - outdoor table and benches, to eat on the patio - reclining beach chairs - Wi-fi.

The apartment “Darecoi” has 4 beds and an area of about 35 square meters; in addition there is a 15 sq m loft. It is really bright and it is on the first floor. The furniture is typically alpine, it is comfortable for families with grown-up children (at least 7 years old), for a couple looking for a romantic nest, or for four friends. In the apartment you will find:

- An hall - living room with LCD Television and sofa - table with bench - kitchen area - bedroom with queen-size bed and TV - large bathroom with whirlpool shower - loft with 2 beds - electrical appliances: washing machine, electric iron, hairdryer, oven, fridge, microwave oven - independent underfloor heating system, with the possibility to set different temperatures in different rooms - three-side balcony - kitchen with kitchenware - wide garden area - barbecue - outdoor benches and table to eat on the patio - reclining beach chairs - ski storage - Wi-fi.

Falcade is a famous destination for both summer and winter holidays, and it is part of the “Dolomiti SuperSki” network. “Borgate tra le malghe”, our “albergo diffuso”, wants to be an alternative to the conventional tourism; we want to welcome you with gastronomic specialty, wellness, local customs, in the wonderful natural environment of the Dolomites, and we want to make your holiday unique. The agritourism “Piccola Baita”, about 1 km far from the apartments in Sappade, a small hamlet, offers you the opportunity to experience the tastes of the traditional cooking and buy the specialties of the farm. A new and modern wellness center is an extra option to add relax to your holiday.

There are also several alpine huts in the area; some of them are open to the public in winter too. You can reach the huts by wonderful walks through the woods, like the local people did centuries ago, and like some still do today.
