Our Hotel Zur Sonne is the ideal starting point for your holiday excursions.

Our Hotel Zur Sonne was newly built in 2002 and has 12 rooms, including 8 single/double rooms, as well as 2 suites and 2 flats that can accommodate up to 4 people. Our flats have a separate bedroom and a living room with mini kitchen. From May to October we serve a rich breakfast buffet daily from 8.00 to 10.00 am.

Our double rooms are very spacious, have comfortable single beds, a lounge table and armchair and a small writing corner. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and modern accessories such as toiletries, hair and shower gel and a hairdryer.

In the immediate vicinity, you can enjoy events such as musicals, cabaret, concerts or theatre in the Bürgersaal or watch the latest blockbusters in the cinema. The historic old town is just a 10-minute walk away. Exciting for the whole family too: visit the bear or monkey forest, experience bison in their natural habitat or get active together in the climbing forest. Cyclists, private and business travellers will feel at home in our spacious rooms. In addition to lockable storage facilities for your own bicycles, we also offer car parking spaces directly at the hotel.

Waren (Müritz) lies on the "Little Sea", which is the Slavic translation of the word "Müritz". And as in almost every town by the sea, there is a harbour, a marina. It is the actual centre, as all the little alleyways with their half-timbered houses, small shops and galleries lead visitors to this square in the middle of the town centre at some point. It smells of water, smoked fish, summer sun and a refreshing autumn breeze. For decades, the small town has been a health resort that awakens the spirits of its guests and has now been recognised as a spa with its own thermal brine.
