The Sengelmannshof in idyllic Essen-Kettwig invites you to relax, celebrate and work with its comfortable rooms and modern function rooms.

The word "hospitality" has a very special meaning for us. Many guests have become friends over the years. At the Hotel-Restaurant Sengelmannshof, we therefore not only offer you hospitality, but also the tradition of a centuries-old half-timbered house that has adapted favourably to change. The Sengelmannshof was mentioned in documents as early as the 14th century. It has been in the family since 1817. The former farm also has a long tradition of catering. The Schriever family has been running the hotel-restaurant, which has become a "Kettwig gem", since 1985. Gisela and Reinhard Schriever attach particular importance to the original character of the historic building, while always adding contemporary and modern touches.

Its location between the Rhine and Ruhr makes the hotel a wonderful destination for day trips as well as the ideal domicile for visitors to the trade fair centres of Essen and Düsseldorf.

The hotel in the green south of Essen offers 8 comfortable single rooms and 18 double rooms.
These include 2 family rooms and a romantic wedding room. The central location and good connections to the trade fair cities of Düsseldorf and Essen in the Rhine-Ruhr region are particularly noteworthy.
The hotel in a modern, simple and functional style has formed a gastronomic unit with the restaurant in the half-timbered house since 1974.

Our rooms are equipped with television, radio, some with minibar and free W-LAN internet access. You can choose between shower/WC or bath/WC.
We offer newlyweds something very special: an overnight stay in our cosily furnished wedding room is the perfect way to round off the most beautiful day of your life.
