We welcome you to our traditional house, which looks back on a long family tradition and, now in its third generation, attaches great importance to hospitality and service.

Situated in the green belt of the beautiful and historic Lutherstadt and only two minutes walk to the historic market with the houses of the famous Cranach family and the monuments of Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchton, we invite you to be our guests!

The Pension Zur Elbe, is always a good address in the heart of Lutherstadt Wittenberg and located directly on the Elbe cycle path as well as on the R1 and R4 cycle paths.

Relax after a long day in our cosy and tastefully furnished double and triple rooms. Our rooms can of course also be booked as single rooms.

A private tiled bathroom with shower, TV and carpet or floorboards are just as much a part of the room furnishings as the tasteful and traditional furnishings.

After a restful night, we offer you our extensive breakfast to start the day well.

Enjoy the view of Wittenberg's monuments - the castle church and the town church - from our rooms or let your eyes wander over the extensive Elbe meadows. Right next to our house, the newly laid out Luther Garden with its 500 trees, planted by church congregations from all over the world, invites you to linger and take a walk.

The house has lockable storage facilities for the bicycles of cyclists.

Guests arriving by car can use the parking facilities directly in front of the house.

Wir bekammen im Restaurant als heute auch auf der Karte Roastbeef angeboten.Das haben wir bestellt.Obwohl das Roastbeef doppelt so teuer !!! war wie die anderen Speisen, wurde darauf nicht hingewiesen und mit 18€ ist es sicher hoffnungslos überteuert.Das hinterließ etwas den Eindruck von Abzocke, schade eigentlich, denn ansonsten war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut.

Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sehr geräumig, eigentlich ein 3-Bett-Zimmer, das wir mit 2 Personen nutzten. Es befand sich im 1. Stockwerk. Schön sauber und sehr gemütlich. Zentral gelegen. Einziger Nachteil ist die Bahn und der Straßenverkehr vor der Tür, dadurch etwas laut. Bei geschlossenem Fenster ist jedoch nichts davon zu merken. Das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend.

Durch die Bahnstrecke ist es bei offenem Fenster im Sommer durchaus laut. Auf Grund des anstrengenden Tages haben wir aber ganz gut geschlafen.

einzig das die Toiletten und Duschen über dem Flur sind kann ich die Pension nur empfehlen

Für uns der einizige Makel an der Sache war der hochfrequentierte gegenüberliegende Bahnübergang und die verkehrsreiche Strasse. Die Unterkunft selbst sehr geräumig, sauber und bequem. Lag im 1. Stock. Das variantenreiche Frühstück wurde serviert und wer mehr wollte bekam es. Für unsere Unternehmungen - einen Tag die Historie des Ortes erkunden - mehr als ausreichend und echt zentrumsnah.

Gutes Hotel, aber die Lage ist nicht optimal. Etwas zu laut bei offenem Fenster durch Bahnstrecke und B187. Witzig sind die privaten Bäder außerhalb des Zimmers. Ist nicht schlecht, passt zum Hotel. Guter Service.

Das Haus würde ich mit der Einschränkung weiterempfehlen, ob eine preislich günstige und sehr zentral gelegene Unterkunft gesucht wird die eben dem Preis entsprechend von der Einrichtung her nicht auf dem neuesten Stand ist.
