Welcome to the Gasthof Hotel Adlerbräu in Gunzenhausen.

Our traditional inn - family-owned since 1868 and mentioned in documents as early as 1564 - is one of the leading inns in the Franconian Lake District. In our 3-star superior hotel, we offer our guests tastefully furnished rooms (some with balconies overlooking the Altmühlaue), a wellness area above the rooftops of the town, two suites, two lifts and our own car and bicycle parking spaces. Our guests can start the day in a relaxed atmosphere in the light-flooded breakfast room. Our main building and our ‘Haus Altmühlaue’, newly built in 2011, invite you to linger and relax. Both houses have a lift. The communal breakfast room is located in the main building, our ground-floor reception in the ‘Haus Altmühlaue’.

Our comfortable guest rooms (all non-smoking rooms) are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, satellite TV with radio (also 6 Sky channels), room safe, free WLAN and telephone and leave nothing to be desired.

Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet in our bright Seeadlerstube or on our sunny garden terrace and start a new day relaxed. Relax in our restaurant after an eventful day in the Franconian Lake District or enjoy the summer days in our beer garden directly on the traffic-calmed market square or on our quiet sun terrace. e will spoil you with regional and international cuisine. Our kitchen team offers hearty snacks, Franconian specialities, vegetarian food and fine fish, lamb and game dishes. Our offer is rounded off by seasonal specialities and dishes from the hot stone.

For relaxation, we offer three saunas (Finnish sauna, steam bath, bio sauna), an infrared cabin, various showers and a relaxation area in our wellness area. Since 2013, you can pamper yourself with a massage or beauty treatment in our wellness area.

For conferences and seminars, we offer you a pleasant atmosphere in our three conference rooms. Our seminar rooms are equipped with a projector, screen, flipchart and metaplan. We are happy to put together a conference package according to your wishes. In addition, we organise attractive supporting programmes with our partners to round off your conference and at the same time offer a successful change of pace (high rope climbing, canoeing, Franconian Olympics, crossbow shooting and much more). You can park your car free of charge in our hotel car park (34 spaces) or in the large public car park in Oettinger Straße (also free of charge), 2 - 3 minutes' walk away over the Altmühl bridge. Our hotel also has 2 car parking spaces in the garage which are subject to a charge. Bicycles can be safely stored in our bicycle container or in the large garage.

Gunzenhausen is a town in Middle Franconia/Bavaria with approx. 16,500 inhabitants including the neighbourhoods. The recognised health resort is located in the heart of the Franconian Lake District (Altmühlsee, Brombachsee and Rothsee), which is just waiting to be discovered by you with its 500 km of cycling and hiking trails. Our house is located directly in the centre of Gunzenhausen and yet on the outskirts of the town on the quiet Altmühl promenade. The Altmühltal cycle path passes directly behind our house and the Limesstraße also runs through Gunzenhausen.
