Welcome to the Gasthof Alpenrose in Samerberg-Grainbach near Rosenheim.

The Gasthof Alpenrose, the village inn in Grainbach, has been known for years as a sophisticated restaurant with its seasonal cuisine. The characteristic building right next to the church and the cosy beer garden provide a stylish setting for a special gastronomic experience!

The Alpenrose is a real family business: with son Florian, mum Maria Lerche and grandma Maria Wörndl, three generations are at the cooker together. Together with a friendly team, they look after the well-being of their guests and do everything they can to make them feel completely at home.

Inn atmosphere to make you feel at home - The furnishings of the parlours and the tiled stoves create an authentic Bavarian inn atmosphere - cosy and tasteful.

The Alpenrose's culinary offerings can best be described as refined Bavarian cuisine. Maria Wörndl's pastries are legendary, while her grandson Florian, the head chef, varies traditional dishes with a fresh breeze of Mediterranean and Styrian flavours. He acquired his skills and flair for clever compositions during his years as an apprentice in Styria and as a chef in renowned Austrian restaurants.

At Gasthof Alpenrose you can not only eat and drink really well, but also enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Three modern rooms with shower and WC in the Bauernstadl, as well as 6 reasonably priced double rooms and 2 single rooms in the main building with shared shower/WC are available for guests at moderate prices. We rent out the town rooms for a minimum stay of 3 nights

The family room and the holiday flat can also be rented for a minimum stay of 3 nights, in the high season from the beginning of May to mid-October for a minimum stay of 5 nights

When the days get longer and the evenings milder, people like to sit on the covered veranda entwined with vines or in the beer garden under the lime trees. Then you can hardly decide whether you'd rather look at the unique Lüftlmalerei painting on the house, the granite fountain or the Grainbach church of St. Ägidius.
