Welcome to the three-star hotel ‘Zum Schänzchen’ in Nettetal on the Lower Rhine. All of our 21 rooms are very comfortably furnished. With us you can enjoy your stay in a pleasant atmosphere and find the peace and quiet you need for a new successful or relaxing day. The room rate also includes a hearty breakfast.

Our modern and friendly rooms are all equipped with the following: Shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, flat screen TV, as well as a desk and internet access. The family rooms can be equipped with a sofa bed for two adults and two to three children. We are happy to provide a cot for infants travelling with you. Baby monitors and highchairs in the restaurant are also available on request. Our hotel restaurant has been a well-known address for good food in the Lower Rhine region and beyond for many years. The menu in the restaurant offers something for every taste, from home-style cooking with regional dishes to specialities for the discerning gourmet, of course always based on fresh ingredients. Our kitchen offers seasonal specialities all year round. We look forward to spoiling you with tasty dishes and our personalised and attentive service.

The restaurant is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 17:30.

We kindly ask you to make a reservation by telephone, especially at weekends.

Our rooms, including technical equipment, are available for your conference or information event. To ensure the best possible outcome for your event, we will customise the seating or your presentation area for you. A free car park is available directly at the hotel for your entire stay with us. Due to its size, larger vehicles can also be parked here.
