Enjoy your holidays on one of the most surrounding locations Austria’s 820 m above sea level - Welcome to the family farm Schweighuber. Spend your vacation alone, with family or friends in a quiet unspoiled countryside. Enjoy the sunny location and the unique panorama of 820 m above sea level. Our farm "Mitterhirschberg" is located 9 miles outside the city of Waidhofen on a sunny ridge.

We have 20 cows and some other animals on our small farm. We, Richard and Margaret, have lived here since 1980. Escape the everyday stress and enjoy the absolute tranquility of the highest mountain farm Waidhofen to 820 m above sea level.

Our cozy apartments for 2 to 5 people, with wonderful views from the Ötscher, Gesäuse up to the Dead Mountains, and the Danube Valley to the Bohemian Forest will enchant you.

3 apartments (approx. 25 – 65 m²) are equipped with shower and separate toilet and meet all requirements. A washing machine is also available. On request there is also wireless internet access. Dogs are welcome with us.

Upon request, we serve you an expanded breakfast: coffee / tea / milk / hot chocolate, homemade bread, rolls, butter, cheese, sausages from our own production, jam, eggs. We have fresh farm products for sale such as milk, bread, bacon, brandy, fruit, etc.
