Welcome to the Hotel Haus vom Guten Hirten!

In a quiet, convenient location on the outskirts of Münster's city centre, the team of the Hotel Haus vom Guten Hirten welcomes you. Our barrier-free hotel garni is situated in a quiet, convenient location on the eastern edge of Münster city centre. It is an ideal location for conferences, for exploring the Westphalian metropolis from here or as a starting point for a cycle tour into the surrounding area.

Our hotel is characterised by a personal, familiar atmosphere and attentive service. A trusting and cooperative contact with our guests is important to us.

In 1986, the hotel was opened as a guest house of the Order of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. In 2008 the hotel was completely renovated and modernised. In March 2009, the Hotel - Haus vom Guten Hirten in Münster was reopened as an integration business.

People with and without disabilities come together here - as guests and employees, because our house offers 10 jobs for people with disabilities.

The Hotel Haus vom Guten Hirten has 26 rooms - single, twin and multi-bed rooms - with a total of 45 beds. Four of our twin rooms are specially designed for wheelchair users. Children's travel cots are also available if required. All rooms are equipped with shower, WC, TV and internet.

Did you sleep well? A hearty breakfast ensures a good start to the day. At our breakfast buffet you will find something for every taste: fresh seasonal fruit, fruit juices, various mueslis, yoghurt, bread and rolls, cheese and cold cuts platter, scrambled and boiled eggs ... and not to forget: homemade jam.

Enjoy your breakfast - with a clear conscience: In order to reduce the CO2 footprint of our guests, we only use organic coffee and fair trade products from Gepa and organic tea from TeeGschwendner. We avoid using ready-made products as much as possible and make our own fruit yoghurt, for example. We save on packaging waste by not using individually packaged goods at the breakfast buffet, unless hygiene regulations prevent us from doing so.

As our guests, you may travel relaxed, with a safe and comfortable feeling. In addition to individual travellers, we also accommodate travel groups of people with disabilities. We will be happy to help you plan and organise your stay. Please contact us!
There is barrier-free access to the main entrance for wheelchair and walker users. The reception, breakfast restaurant, conference rooms and the hotel room floors can be reached without steps via the lift.

Cycling through Münsterland
Münster - until a few years ago the cycling capital of Germany - is the starting point or stopover for numerous cycling tours or "Pättkesfahrten" - as the Münsterlanders call it. Whether the romantic "100 castles route" to the mostly water castles and palaces of the Münsterland or shorter tours along the Werse, whether further down or up the Ems, whether on the tracks of the peace riders towards Osnabrück: an ideal stopover or starting point for your holiday in the bicycle saddle is our hotel.
