On 1 May 2023, we, the Sido family, took over the Hotel Ilbertz in the Cologne-Deutz district from the Müller family. We will continue the long tradition of this hotel and offer our guests an individual service that will help them forget the stress of everyday life.

In 2001, the Müller family took over the traditional Hotel Ilbertz in Cologne-Deutz. With a great deal of enthusiasm and the experience gained from decades of running our Hotel Imperial in Ehrenfeld, the hotel was renovated and brought up to date. Today, our Deutz hotel has 26 individually designed rooms.

As is usual in older buildings, our rooms have different layouts. Each has a bed with high-quality mattresses, sufficient storage space for your luggage, a desk, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi (free of charge), minibar and individually adjustable air conditioning. Our larger rooms also have comfortable seating areas, some with sofas. Our bathrooms are equipped with a washbasin, shower and toilet. For your comfort, there is also a hairdryer, shampoo and soap in each bathroom, not to mention fluffy towels.

In the morning, we will pamper you with our extensive and varied breakfast buffet between 7:00 and 10:00. Here you will find a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, mini meatballs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. For a healthy breakfast, we also offer a variety of breakfast cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. A selection of preserves, bread, rolls and juices complete the buffet. Our friendly staff will be happy to serve you coffee or tea at your table.

Our reception is manned from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. During this time, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. Unfortunately, it is not possible to exit our hotel car park outside of these hours.

If you are hungry or thirsty when you return from a long day in the city or at the exhibition centre, the Deutz district offers you a wide range of places to eat and drink. In the Karree Mindener Straße / Deutzer Freiheit / Justinianstraße / Opladener Straße, you will find something for every budget and taste. Ask our staff for their recommendations.
