Our hotel lies in the attractive hilly area of the north Eifel natural park, overlooking the valleys of the Rur and the Perlbach, not far from the picturesque town of Monschau, fondly called the pearl of the Eifel and embedded in the narrow Rur valley, which - thanks to its romantic and preserved historical character - is a unique spot for sightseeing. The visitor will find rest and recreation in the pure, salubrious highland air, far away from noise and stress, where the unspoilt natural surroundings with diversions surpassing all expectations extend an invitation to walks or other excursions (e. g. the moorland area »Hohes Venn«). The nearby summer and winter sports area, Rohren, with its ski-lift and cross-country skiing tracks throug the Höfen woods, guarantees winter recreation and fitness. Our modern well-furnished rooms are central-heated and many of them have a private shower/WC, telephone, TV and radio. We have a rustic-style restaurant and a heated swimming pool with counterflow system, sunbathing lawns, a barbecue, a sauna and solarium. The municipal sports ground with four tennis courts is immediately adjacent to the hotel. There are garages and a car park. Our hotel is ADAC and AvD-recommended.
