Welcome to the Sisters of S. Birgitta in Lugano! The guesthouse is furnished with simplicity and decorum - 33 single and double rooms, provided with private W.C. and bath or shower. A spacious dining room where a variety of wholesome food is served, three homely sitting rooms, a lift and central heating are at the disposal of the guests, all of wich help to make the holiday most comfortable. The house is open the whole year round. From the sun-terrace one can enjoy a magnificent view of the Lake of Lugano and the surrounding mountains. About 15 minutes walk takes one to the heart of the city or to the Station; alternatively, in only 5 minutes by bus or filobus which stop near the house. Most enjoyable walks, excursions on the lake and mountains. Person of every age, nationality and belief are warmly welcomed. A simple, devotional chapel is open to all who feel the need of it, for those too who wish to partecipate at the Liturgical Hours with the sisters. Once again a hearty welcome to one and all!
