Welcome to the Gasthof Grotto Serta in Lamone!

The Hotel Grotto Serta is located about 7 km from Lugano and Lake Lugano, in the centre of the town of Lamone in the Canton of Ticino.

We have 8 double rooms, which we also rent as single rooms. All rooms are equipped with shower, toilet, minibar, TV and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Each of our rooms is furnished differently and equipped with the latest generation of air conditioning. We also have baby cots available. In the morning, a rich continental breakfast awaits you.

In our restaurant, we will pamper you with Mediterranean and Ticino cuisine. When the weather is nice, you can dine on the spacious terrace, which is partly beautifully covered with vines and offers a cosy arbour. There is a small playground for children.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF COOKING

We are from Irpinia and our cuisine can only draw from the Mediterranean philosophy. This does not prevent us from also exploring other gastronomic areas, with a view to the Ticino specialities that are refined by our Sicilian-Lombard chef Gianvito Cirami, who has been with us for 14 years with his professionalism and knowledge. Our gastronomy is based on seasonal products and high-quality raw materials: our dishes are fresh and are only prepared shortly before they are served. As for the wines, we offer you a journey through Ticino and Italy with more than 350 options to taste.

There is plenty of free parking at the restaurant. The Via Mara bus stop is 600 metres away and the Torricella-Taverne train station is 1 km away.
