Welcome to the HOTEL STERNEN in Schwarzenburgerland.

The Landgasthof Sternen Guggisberg has existed since at least 1448 (first documented mention). It has experienced a lot in the last 550 years

And... maybe we'll see you in person in Guggisberg? In Guggisberg you have something that is not often available in the hustle and bustle of everyday life: peace, time, relaxation, coupled with views, nature and fresh air. The sunsets, for example, are legendary.

You stay in rooms in the newly built, south-west facing hotel area. We have installed a lift for you and every room, including the bathroom, is wheelchair accessible. The rooms have a balcony, shower/WC, hairdryer, TV, telephone connection, WLAN and room safe. We can provide you with a minibar on request. You stay in rooms in the south-west facing hotel area. The rooms are wheelchair accessible and can be reached by lift. The south-west facing hotel rooms offer a marvellous view of the Fribourg Alps.

Our Michelin-starred cuisine is renowned far and wide and is considered very refined. We serve a light and harmonious cuisine. You will find seasonal specialities and a varied à la carte menu. In the panorama room you have a royal view and can eat just as well. Our garden terrace is also a great place to eat, and here you can also keep an eye on the large playground and the play area by the road.

Dear dog owners

Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. We would be grateful if you would mention this when making your reservation so that we can allocate you a suitable table. However, feeding and giving water is not permitted. Please keep your dog under the table. Thank you very much.

Guggisberg is an ideal starting point for hikes of all kinds. Come to Guggisberg and switch off - here there is no disco, no supermarket, no motorway, no major building site, no flight path, rarely fog - actually nothing at all... which makes Guggisberg so incomparable and attractive!
