Welcome to our traditional Hotel-Restaurant Krone in Kestert.

Our family-run hotel and restaurant has been known for its hospitality, Rhineland specialities and exquisite wines since the 18th century. Our central location in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002, is very popular with our guests. Starting from our hotel, there are numerous excursion possibilities for exploring the romantic Rhine landscape, which take visitors on an eventful journey of discovery around the famous German Rhine Romanticism.

The unique ambience of the cosy fireside lounge, the restaurant with a view of the Rhine, the large, comfortable hall for celebrations and conferences and the romantic Rhine terrace make even the most discerning guest feel at home. In addition to countless guests, many prominent politicians and stars from film and television have already paid their respects at our hotel.

The Hotel KRONE consists of 4 buildings. Buildings 1, 2 & 3 are next to each other. The guest house "Burgenblick" is a 5-minute walk from the Rhine. All rooms are equipped with shower/WC, TV connection, radio, free WLAN and hairdryer.
The rooms include various double and single rooms as well as flats in standard, comfort and comfort plus versions. The guest rooms range in size from 18 square metres to 35 square metres. A family flat for 4-6 people and several flats of different sizes are also available. The Comfort Plus double rooms are equipped with a separate living area. Balcony and view of the Rhine can be reserved on request. All rooms are non-smoking rooms!

Our large car park offers space for motorbikes as well as a lockable bicycle garage. The hotel's own terraces on the banks of the Rhine and on the roof invite you to relax and enjoy a coffee.

What better way to start the day than with a delicious breakfast? We would therefore be delighted to give you a good start to the day with a delicious breakfast.

For conferences, seminars and other events, we are happy to provide you with our large fireplace room (40 m²), which offers space for 15 people, a usable minimum height of 2.57 m and seating in block form. If you are planning an event with a larger group, we can provide you with our banqueting hall (120 m²) with a usable minimum height of 4 metres.

Our central location in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002, is also very popular with our guests. Starting from our hotel, there are numerous excursion options for exploring the romantic Rhine landscape in the Rhine Graben, such as hikes on the Rheinsteig or the Rhein-Burgen-Wanderweg, boat trips on the Rhine southwards to Rüdesheim or down the Rhine to Koblenz, a visit to the Loreley, visits to medieval castles, palaces and fortresses and much more.
