Our owner-managed family hotel is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Mehren, not far from the "blue eyes of the Eifel", the maars near Schalkenmehren, Daun and Gillenfeld - in other words, in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel. "Heart" and "passion" also characterise our understanding as hosts:

Our cosily furnished rooms have a balcony and, because they are slightly elevated, offer a great view over Mehren to the volcanic Eifel landscape. The rooms are equipped with: Walk-in shower, WC, washbasin, hairdryer, telephone, TV, WLAN

Our country house is a young, owner-managed family business. Jonas Wagner earned his first spurs in the Landgasthof Michels, Schalkenmehren, and is a master chef. Cooking is a passion for him, an activity in which he can realise his creativity and ingenuity. With his own spice compositions, he aims to create perfectly balanced dishes that always emphasise the high-quality product.

We create a feel-good atmosphere and take care of your well-being in our restaurant with passion and convincing cookery skills. We warmly welcome nature holidaymakers and hikers who appreciate trails in the wooded surroundings or who walk the famous Eifelsteig or Lieserpfad trails.

Cyclists and mountain bikers from the nearby Maare-Moselle cycle path are also welcome. We are also happy to welcome families, groups for celebrations: anyone who wants to relax or unwind, enjoy a good wine, a cold beer and the delicacies of our cuisine.
