Welcome to the Hotel zur Post

We are a family-run guesthouse in the historic part of Frankfurt's Schwanheim district. Our hotel is centrally located and close to local cafés, restaurants and shops. Cyclists are also welcome and have the possibility to park their bikes in our garage.

At the moment we do not offer breakfast in our hotel. In the neighbourhood (on the next street corner) there are two bakeries with seating. These offer fresh baked goods, sandwiches, egg dishes and coffee specialities every day.

Surrounded by Frankfurt's city forest and the Schwanheimer Dünen nature reserve, the historic Frankfurt neighbourhood of Schwanheim is located on the south side of the River Main. Easily accessible via the Hessian long-distance cycle routes R3 & R8.

Frankfurt city centre, with its cultural offerings, museums, sights, numerous shopping opportunities and the stadium, is easy to reach by public transport. Frankfurt Rhine Main Airport is approx. 4 km away. Schwanheim is located to the north of the airport and not in the airport's flight paths. The Frankfurt Trade Fair Centre is approx. 8 km away.

Nearby you will find the Restaurant zum Zehnthof with German-Austrian cuisine and beer garden, the Restaurant Seppche an Äbbelwoikneipe with home-style cooking and the Restaurant Kemtong with Thai cuisine.
