A 4-star literary hotel in Paris dedicated to Marcel Proust

The Hotel Littéraire Le Swann, BW Premier Collection is a 4-star literary hotel dedicated entirely to Marcel Proust, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, close to Gare Saint-Lazare.

In the heart of the historic Proust district of Plaine Monceau and Saint-Augustin, Le Swann presents a collection of original works about the writer with the aim of allowing guests to discover and fall in love with Proust in a warm and comfortable environment.

Each of the six floors of the Hôtel Littéraire Le Swann is dedicated to a mythical place

described in Marcel Proust's novel: you travel from Combray to Balbec, from the Verdurins' salon to the elegant Faubourg Saint-Germain, to Venice and its favourite artists.

The 80 rooms at the Hotel Le Swann are named after a character from ‘In Search of Lost Time’ or one of Proust's favourite painters. A framed text presents the character with a selected quote, and the original watercolour signed by artist Jean Aubertin reinterprets it to make your room unique.
