One of our most famous guests has been civil rights campaigner Martin Luther King who came to

Berlin in order to conduct initially one divine service and to meet with representatives of the Protestant Church of Berlin-Brandenburg and of the Baptist Church at Hotel Albrechtshof (former Hospice at 'Bahnhof Friedrichstraße') to discuss problems of Christian life in the divided city.

Today, our 3-star hotel offers the comfort of a city hotel in a prime location. Our hotel is less than a two minutes walk to the river Spree where numerous small cafés and restaurants are lining up like beads on a string. And there are charming shops and cafés at Albrechtstraße, too. The famous Berlin Ensemble is performing at the "Theater am Schiffbauerdamm" which is only three minutes within walking distance of Hotel Albrechtshof. In close proximity to our hotel, the performance artist Ben Wagin has built the "Parliament of Trees", a memorial for the victims of the Berlin Wall.

Our hotel Albrechtshof the ideal for exploring the city: The Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, the government district, Museum Island and other landmarks are within walking distance. And in order to see tourist attractions a bit further away, you can walk to 'Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse' and take a train, a suburban railway or the underground to get there.
