The Gasthof zur Sonne has been run by head chef Frank Hauber since July 2006. For over 80 years, the inn has stood for tradition and festivity, both regionally and nationally. The Hauber family and their team are therefore always keen to ensure that guests feel comfortable in the ‘changeable’ region and prefer to stay a little longer.

Stay at our family-run hotel. All 8 single rooms and the 9 double or family rooms are comfortably furnished. Our rooms are lovingly and cosily furnished to ensure you a restful night's sleep and a pleasant stay. Each room has its own bathroom, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and other amenities to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

In our restaurant, we place a high value on cultivated hospitality. We cook regional, seasonal and creative dishes. We constantly have over 35 dishes on the menu, from cold snacks to our homemade Swabian ravioli, salads with turkey strips and light vegetarian dishes – there is something for everyone here; try our cuisine, you will be satisfied!

Relax in our cosy beer garden, surrounded by flowers and shrubs and right next to a small children's playground! With seating for 60, we also offer plenty of space for cyclists, motorcyclists and hikers in summer. The area around our Gasthof zur Sonne offers you numerous leisure activities. Explore the beautiful landscape of the eastern Swabian Alb on a hike or bike ride, visit the nearby attractions or simply relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the surrounding nature.
