Welcome to the Waldhotel Schwefelquelle in Schwandorf in the Upper Palatinate Forest in Eastern Bavaria!

Relax on our sun terraces after an eventful day and enjoy our excellent cuisine. Our hotel has 27 tastefully furnished rooms, most of which are double or triple rooms. Five of these rooms are on the south side with a balcony. The rooms are equipped with shower or bath, toilet, TV, radio, hairdryer, telephone and safe. You also have free Wi-Fi here.

Our hotel and restaurant are wheelchair accessible and offer four barrier-free hotel rooms. Of course, there is also a disabled toilet on the same level as the restaurant and the event rooms.

The beer garden season at our Waldhotel-Restaurant Schwefelquelle begins with hearty delicacies. For Thanksgiving, regional dishes and delicious venison dishes (wild boar, venison, fallow deer) await you, all from local forests.

Our popular restaurant for day-trippers also has a shady garden terrace where you can find peace and relaxation. Our cuisine, which is well known and appreciated, pampers you with local and international specialities and is represented every year at the Schwandorf delicacies weeks. Of course, our extensive menu also includes hearty snacks. There is a children's playground right next to the garden terrace and a children's play area in the restaurant.

You can also relax in our small wellness area with sauna, steam bath, relaxation room and fitness room.
