Welcome to the Hotel Waldheim, in the middle of the beautiful mountains of South Tyrol on the sunny high plateau of Natz/Schabs.

Our hotel in Sciaves/Schabs is your family-run holiday home in South Tyrol. The small village of Sciaves/Schabs lies on the edge of a sun-kissed high plateau in the Isarco/Eisacktal valley. Situated in the heart of South Tyrol, it is the ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and skiing days throughout South Tyrol. The Hotel Waldheim, built and run by the Peintner family, is surrounded by a well-tended garden. Idyllically and quietly situated, you can spend a relaxing South Tyrolean holiday here at any time of year. The most beautiful hiking and winter sports areas of the Isarco Valley and beyond are just a few minutes away by car or public transport.

Our kitchen attaches great importance to the use of regional and seasonal products. From this we conjure up a wide range of Mediterranean and Alpine delicacies: from South Tyrolean specialities such as dumplings and Schlutzkrapfen to Italian antipasti and fish dishes. Every evening we serve a three-course menu of your choice, and you can also help yourself to the extensive salad buffet. The white wines from the Isarco Valley are among the best white wines in Italy. Fresh, cool nights, warm and hot days and good ventilation in the valley ensure fruity flavours and an elegant body.
