VISIT US ON THE “ORGANIC” ROUTE! If we are honest, we should confess that we knew it would take decades to rebuild an area abandoned by people to recreate a means of living and an economy, rebuild roads, houses and fields, and grow food using methods that will not damage the environment.

Thanks to our work, we have done all of this and also made our contribution to the development of a production sector known as organic farming. Over the years, there have been visits from many of our friends and acquaintances, people who admire us, and people who consume our products - many hundreds of them every year. To accommodate these visits with a minimum of comfort, we have specially renovated an old farmhouse - the Alce Nero Inn - and over the years, we have added bedrooms, a swimming pool and a totally organic restaurant. Then we dedicated a wing of the renovated Monastery of Montebelloto the same purpose and today, we are able to offer hospitality to some thirty guests, we can seat fifty or so diners and we also offer rooms for study conferences that can hold about one hundred people. As well as the monastery and the museum of farming life, visitors can also see the pasta factory at work.
