Our modern and tastefully furnished hotel offers you time to relax, unwind and enjoy. Attentive service is a matter of course for us.

The hotel has cosy single and double rooms, some with a balcony and a view over the dyke or the Elbe fairway with a rich breakfast buffet, also half board with a generous evening meal. The rooms are all equipped with flatscreen TV, shower/WC and hairdryer.

In addition to modern single and double rooms, the ‘Alte Fischerhaus’ also has comfortable apartments with a living room and bedroom.

Start your day with pleasure. Our rich breakfast buffet in the dining room leaves nothing to be desired and sets you up for a day full of adventures on the island.

Our exquisite, home-style cooking offers you fresh and carefully prepared dishes from the land and sea. From the traditional fisherman's breakfast, fresh fish to home-made Labskaus or simply the Fock'schen fried potatoes - we would like to spoil you with culinary delights. Of course, a home-baked cake with wonderful coffee or a tasty eggnog should not be missing.

For our hotel guests, we are also happy to offer a 3-course menu in our dining room in the evening as part of half board, for stays of 2 nights or more.

The hay hotel is a special attraction for groups who want to spend the night in a different way. But individuals also like to sleep in our hay hotel, which is equipped with several sanitary facilities.

Riders and horses are also welcome here. The ride to the island is something very special. No noisy cars (at most the occasional supply tractor), no paved road, there is only one way to Neuwerk and that is on the seabed.

So saddle up and off you go, but talk to us beforehand about when to set off.

At the edge of the farm there are large boxes in our light-coloured stables and our pastures are fenced in for horses. You can stay overnight in our hotel or hay hotel. We transport luggage.

If you want to stay longer, you can also ride to the bird sanctuary island of Scharhörn.

Experience the unique interplay of the tides, relax your body and mind on extensive mudflat walks and go on exciting voyages of discovery that will bring you closer to our special Wadden Sea habitat.

A holiday on the island of Neuwerk starts with the journey to the island.

The best way to get there is by wagon, when you can see the island of Neuwerk in the distance and yet so close.

Whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or as a group, the mudflat trolley trip is a special experience, because there is so much to see and hear on the mudflats.

Surrounded by pristine salt marshes, you can go on mudflat trips to the island of Scharhörn or treat yourself to a little break in the beach chairs...
