The Columbus Hotel is privately run in the 3rd generation with cultivated hospitality and a personal touch. For decades, the maritime hotel, which now consists of four buildings, has been firmly anchored in Bremerhaven's seafaring history with the North German Lloyd. This hotel lives from its style and charm in cosy surroundings. The memorabilia of the "Columbus" and the time of the "NDL" characterise the furnishings. Guests are spoilt in a maritime way with a rich breakfast buffet. Families are welcome to take advantage of a special children's discount and there is a small playground in the garden for the "little ones". All sights, the city centre and restaurants are within easy reach.

We are open for you 350 days a year. In the summer months you can make yourself comfortable in our hotel and garden area (deckchairs, ample seating and beach chairs). Sufficient parking spaces are available directly at the hotel. For your group trips, we will be happy to put together an individual programme or help you organise your excursion.

Cyclists and motorcyclists are welcome in our house, we are happy to store your two-wheelers free of charge in a locked room. For nature lovers, our glamping site offers the perfect accommodation.
