Welcome to the Hotel-Restaurant Zur Stemmer Post in Minden-Stemmer, the ideal address for cyclists, short breaks and business people.

Our hotel is located in the small village of Stemmer, close to the town of Minden and Porta Westfalica.

Our hotel offers 10 double rooms, 4 single rooms and 1 triple room on two floors. A cot is available for the little ones. All hotel rooms are bright, friendly and modern with shower/WC, telephone, TV-SAT connection, ISDN and partly WLAN. Many also have a hair dryer and a cosmetic mirror.

Our restaurant, with access to the hall, offers you a cosy, newly renovated ambience for convivial hours with family or friends. If you would like to hold your celebration with us, we will put together a delicious menu. All dishes are freshly prepared. Our cuisine is very popular. While Ute Bewig takes care of the hotel and administration, Folkhart Bewig conjures up delicious food. You will be delighted.

When the weather is nice, our beer garden becomes a cosy meeting place for young and old, for families and events in summer. On Saturdays, you can enjoy meat and vegetarian dishes from the grill.

A garage is available for your bicycles. And if you couldn't take a bike with you, we will be happy to arrange a rental bike for you. There are plenty of excursion destinations in the area. For example, the Westphalian Mill Route connects over 40 windmills, water mills and horse mills along various routes. You can see a large number of them in operation on milling and baking days from April to October. The popular Weser Cycle Route is also only about 6 km away from us.
