Welcome to the Alpengasthof Gröbl-Alm in Mittenwald.

As a family business, it is our aim to welcome you not only as guests, but also as friends to our traditional establishment. Selected products and ingredients from our own farm and regional businesses form the basis for our typical Bavarian delicacies. Step into our cosy wooden parlours, take a seat and admire the magnificent landscape while you let us spoil you. The Gröbl-Alm has a long tradition, but has been brought up to date again and again in recent years. Our cosy rooms combine rustic tradition and cosiness with comfort and modern facilities. Guests not only feel very much at home in this family-run business, but also "wia dahoam".

The Alpengasthof Gröbl-Alm is characterised above all by its home-made specialities and delicacies. The Bavarian home cooking pampers the palate and soul and completes your holiday in Mittenwald. In addition to local specialities, you will also find creations from international cuisine in the Hotel Gröbl-Alm Restaurant. Nothing is left to be desired during your stay with us. Good food needs quality, that's our motto, which is why we pay great attention to the origin, seasonality and regionality of our products, starting with the extensive breakfast. All the fawn, lamb and beef products we use come from our own organic farm and from farmers in the region. With us, you always know where a product comes from. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy. Our spacious terrace, with ice cream, cake or other delicacies, is the ideal resting place after a beautiful mountain hike or cycle tour.

In our farm distillery, the host distils his own brandies according to old tradition. Only selected sun-ripened and hand-picked fruit is blended, fermented and distilled twice. Experience handed down over generations gives this pure Bavarian natural product its unique quality and versatile, mature flavours. The art is characterised by the highest precision and accuracy, which determine the result in every single process.

Whatever the season, you will feel at home in our small in-house wellness oasis. After a beautiful summer's day in the fresh Bavarian mountain air and the blossoming nature, or after a sunny day on the piste in winter, our relaxation oasis invites you to relax and recharge your batteries. In summer and winter, families at the Hotel Gröbl-Alm can enjoy numerous leisure activities in the beautiful natural surroundings, so there is certainly no time for boredom. Here at the Alpengasthof Gröbl-Alm there is so much to discover, especially for the little ones.
