As a family business, our aim is to welcome you not only as guests, but also as friends to our traditional establishment. Selected products and ingredients from our own agriculture and regional businesses form the basis for our typical Bavarian delicacies. Come in, take a seat in our cosy wooden parlours and admire the magnificent landscape while you let us spoil you. The Gröbl-Alm has a long tradition, but has been repeatedly updated in recent years. Our cosy rooms combine rustic tradition and cosiness with comfort and modern facilities. Guests not only feel very comfortable in this family-run establishment, but also ‘at home’.

The Alpengasthof Gröbl-Alm is particularly known for its homemade specialities and delicacies. The Bavarian home cooking pampers the palate and soul and rounds off your holiday in Mittenwald. In addition to regional specialities, the restaurant of the Hotel Gröbl-Alm also offers creations from international cuisine. During your stay with us, no wishes will remain unfulfilled. Good food requires quality, that is our motto, which is why we pay attention to the origin, seasonality and regionality of our products, starting with our rich breakfast. All the venison, lamb and beef we use comes from our own organic farm and from local farmers. With us, you always know where a product comes from. So you can sit back, relax and enjoy. Our spacious terrace, with ice cream, cakes or other delicacies, is the ideal resting place after a nice mountain hike or bike ride.

In our distillery, the host distills his own schnapps according to old tradition. Only selected, sun-ripened and hand-picked fruit is blended, fermented and distilled twice. The experience passed down through generations gives this pure Bavarian natural product its unique quality and its versatile, mature taste. The art is characterised by the highest precision and care, which determine the result in every single process.

You will feel at home in our small in-house wellness oasis at any time of the year. After a beautiful summer's day in the fresh Bavarian mountain air and blooming nature or after a sunny day on the slopes in winter, our relaxation oasis invites you to relax and recharge your batteries.
