Selected products and ingredients from our own farm and regional businesses form the basis for our typical Bavarian delicacies. The Gröbl-Alm springs from a long tradition, but has been constantly updated in recent years. Our cosy rooms combine rustic tradition and cosiness with comfort and modern facilities. Guests not only feel very comfortable in the family-run business, but also "wia dahoam".

The Alpengasthof Gröbl-Alm stands out above all for its homemade specialities and delicacies. The Bavarian home cooking pampers the palate and soul and completes your holiday in Mittenwald. In addition to local delicacies, you will also find creations of international cuisine in the Hotel Gröbl-Alm Restaurant. No wishes remain unfulfilled during your stay with us. Good food needs quality, that's our motto, so we pay a lot of attention to origin, seasonality and regionality in our products and processing, starting with the extensive breakfast. All the fawn, lamb and beef products we use come from our own organic farming and from farmers in the region. With us, you always know where a product comes from. So you can sit back and enjoy. Our spacious terrace, with ice cream, cake or other delicacies, is the ideal resting place after a beautiful mountain hike or bike tour.

In our agricultural distillery, noble brandies are distilled by the owner himself according to an old tradition. Only selected sun-ripened and hand-picked fruits are blended, fermented and double distilled. Experiences handed down over generations for the production give the pure Bavarian natural product its unique quality and the versatile matured flavours. The art is characterised by the highest precision and accuracy, which determine the result in every single process.

At any time of the year, you will feel at home in our in-house little wellness oasis. After a beautiful summer's day in the fresh Bavarian mountain air and the blossoming nature, or after a sunny day on the slopes in winter, our relaxation oasis invites you to relax and recharge your batteries.
