Our country house hotel with its family atmosphere is situated in the centre of Saxon Switzerland, not far from the cultural metropolis of Dresden. Whether you are a connoisseur, seeking peace and quiet, a family or a biker – we have just the right thing for you.

After you have been pampered by the culinary delicacies of our ‘Heidekrug team’, you can rest your tired head in one of our comfortably furnished hotel rooms. In the three different buildings of our hotel complex, you will find lovingly furnished double rooms and family rooms in a country house style, the holiday house and the holiday apartments.

The main building has 13 double rooms and in the adjoining apartment building you will find six family rooms with balcony and four holiday apartments for 4-5 persons each, ideal for a family holiday. These have two separate bedrooms and some have a balcony with a view of the Cottaer Spitzberg. The holiday house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms on two floors is designed for large families or groups and is directly adjacent to the garden area. Recently completed, our ‘Haus Spitzbergblick’ - a farmhouse over 100 years old - presents itself in new splendour with six double rooms and, as the name suggests, a view of the Spitzberg. The house also features a rustic farmhouse parlour and our new double bowling alley. All rooms are equipped with a toilet, shower or bathtub, hairdryer and satellite TV. Wi-Fi is available for our guests in the main house free of charge.

In the hotel restaurant, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, half board or full board. In our restaurant, we will pamper you with regional products and the occasional tasty herb from our own herb garden. You can enjoy a good glass of wine or a freshly tapped beer in several of our dining rooms. Whether in the small farmhouse restaurant, in the spacious winter garden or in the cosy lounge and hunting room and, since 2016, in our ‘Heidescheune’ with up to 160 seats over 2 floors and a surrounding gallery with a view of Dresden & Pirna - cosiness is our top priority and your satisfaction is our concern.
