Our country hotel with its familiar flair is located in the centre of Saxon Switzerland, not far from the cultural metropolis of Dresden. Whether for connoisseurs, those seeking peace and quiet, families or bikers - we have just the right thing for you.

Once you have indulged in the culinary delights of our "Heidekrug team", you can rest your weary head in one of our cosily furnished hotel rooms. In the three different buildings of our hotel complex you will find the lovingly furnished country-style double rooms and family rooms, the holiday home and the flats.

The main building has 13 double rooms and in the adjacent apartment house you will find six family rooms with balconies and four flats for 4-5 people each, ideal for a family holiday. These have two separate bedrooms and some have a balcony with a view of the Cottaer Spitzberg. The holiday home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms on two floors is designed for large families or groups and is directly adjacent to the garden area. Just recently completed, our "Haus Spitzbergblick" - a farmhouse over 100 years old - presents itself in new splendour with six double rooms and, as the name suggests, with a view of the Spitzberg. Also in the house you will find the rustic farmhouse parlour and our new double bowling alley. All rooms have a WC, shower or bathtub, hairdryer and satellite TV. W-LAN is available free of charge for our guests in the main building.

In the hotel's own restaurant you can enjoy a rich breakfast as well as half or full board. In our restaurant we spoil you with regional products and one or two tasty herbs from our own herb garden. You can savour a good glass of wine or freshly tapped beer in several of our dining rooms. Whether in the small farmhouse restaurant, the spacious winter garden or the cosy lounge and hunting room and, since 2016, our "Heidescheune" with up to 160 seats over 2 floors and a surrounding gallery with a view of Dresden & Pirna - cosiness is our priority and your satisfaction is our concern.

Let yourself be impressed by our beautiful surroundings, stroll through historic Dresden or conquer the beautiful castles and palaces as Augustus the Strong once did. The Heidekrug is an ideal starting point for many activities and a resting point for relaxation.
