The hosts Christine and Andi are there for you, giving tips on events, holiday activities, excursions and places of interest.

Bavarian hospitality and our motto "An experience in Bavarian cosiness" are combined at first glance at the menu. Here the chef offers you hearty Bavarian delicacies and hearty Tyrolean specialities and rounds off the offer with highlights from international cuisine. Bavarian customs, cheerful conviviality, the desire to enjoy and a meeting place for locals and holidaymakers in the Kiefersfelden region are inseparable from the beer garden and Gasthof Hotel zur Post. After a hike you will find a shady spot and in the evening a convivial get-together - there is always a rendezvous for nice people here. The special fascination of the Bavarian way of life is rounded off by the traditional weekly barbecue evening for guests. The barbecue is accompanied by hearty music and celebrations.

In Germany's first mountain hiking school, Kaiser-Reich, you can also discover our alpine holiday region with trained hiking guides in small groups. On the way, you will learn all about the right equipment, learn step-by-step how to plan your own tours, master them with the right walking technique and deal with critical situations such as sudden changes in the weather. We are happy to organise a course for you for groups of five or more. Whether you arrive as a group or meet up at our reception as a solo traveller - you will discover new paths in a fun and exciting way and have lots of fun.

Today, the landlord harnesses the horses for an exciting carriage ride through the marvellous mountain landscape just for his guests. A cosy carriage ride through the impressive landscape of the foothills of the Alps is a very special experience. If you would like to enjoy a carriage ride as a couple or in a group, you can find out about dates and booking options at our reception - directly from your landlady Christine Pfeiffer. By the way, the carriage is pulled by our "Shire Horses", one of the largest horse breeds in the world.
