Welcome to the Hotel Restaurant and Winery Weisbrod in Freinsheim near Bad Dürkheim!

Our personally run hotel-restaurant is only a five-minute walk from the medieval town centre of the romantic wine town of Freinsheim. Make yourself comfortable in our cosy rooms furnished in rustic country house style. Equipped with shower, WC, satellite TV and, on request, direct-dial telephone, they leave nothing to be desired - simply to feel good.

And if something should be missing for your holiday happiness, we are there for you, because we want you to feel at home. In the morning, your eventful holiday day begins with a rich Palatinate breakfast buffet in our wine tavern. Just the right start for a day full of discoveries on the German Wine Route.

In our restaurant you have the opportunity to experience the typical Palatinate hospitality. Experience atmospheric evenings and wine-filled hours in our rooms or in our Mediterranean garden. Do you love variety? Choose either the cosiness of the Palatinate parlour or the airy Mediterranean ambience of our Tuscany parlour with its open fireplace to indulge in our market-fresh cuisine.

Wine has been grown in our family for generations. Between tradition and modernity, today Jochen Weisbrod, with the support of his family, manages the winery with 30 hectares of vineyards with great enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment. The extensive assortment ranges from elegant, sparkling white wines to fruity, full-bodied red wines matured in wooden barrels to sparkling wines and sparkling wines.

We are happy to organise festivities such as birthdays, christenings and weddings for you. Our extensive menu suggestions can of course be individually modified. Our rooms are also the perfect place to celebrate. We will be happy to arrange your family celebration, your company anniversary and other festivities for you, even outside our opening hours. Or are you perhaps interested in a culinary wine tasting? For larger events, the rustic tasting cellar in our winery is also available. Treat yourself and your employees or your club and association friends to a celebration in a cosy atmosphere. We will be happy to assist you in planning, organising and carrying out your celebrations.

Nestled in a charming hilly landscape on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and directly on the German Wine Route lies the medieval town of Freinsheim.
