Welcome to the Landgasthof Pension Bergblick in Bernau in the Black Forest!

Our family has been running the inn since 1910. From the former "Bierhaus" which was run as a simple inn with a saddler's workshop, the "Bergblick" has developed into a comfortable hotel with flair and culinary sophistication. Tradition or trend ? Both! Country house ambience in Black Forest style. In harmony with nature. Hand in hand we cultivate the cooperation with our farmers and craftsmen.

If we had to say what makes a holiday at Bergblick so special, we couldn't describe it in one sentence. We think it's the many small lovable details that can be found everywhere with us. From the cuisine to the service, from the comfortable rooms with rustic elements and electronic highlights to our programme that offers a selection of individual activities for young and old.

You stay in our comfortable suites and country house rooms which are furnished in local spruce wood with natural wood floors for an allergy-free holiday. All rooms have shower/WC, balcony, flat screen TV, DVD, hi-fi system, safe and minibar. The suites are additionally equipped with a large terrace, open fireplace or private sauna or natural stone steam aroma shower.

Excellent cuisine with a difference..... our guests praise our food time and again. Game from the Bernau forests, veal and beef from the neighbouring farm, fine fish, fruit and vegetables from Lake Constance. Gourmet delicacies from Alsace. Our extensive a la card menu offers the right thing for every taste, from farmhouse vespers to 7-course gourmet menus (recommended by Guide MICHELIN, "La cuisine" restaurant guide Switzerland, the Varta guide awarded us a diamond for the first time).

At Bergblick, you can expect not only exceptional natural cuisine in a magnificent sub-alpine mountain landscape, but also the opportunity to achieve hunting success in our two hunting grounds.

You will also be taught the correct cutting (boning) as well as some tips and tricks from the chef during your hunting holiday - provided, of course, that there is something hanging in our game refrigerator.
