Welcome to the Gasthof Zum Hirsch in Wiggensbach (near Kempten).

Our historic inn has been known throughout the Allgäu region as a "Bockswirtschaft" since 1681.
The ZUM HIRSCH inn is just as suitable for holiday guests as it is for business travellers who have business in the Upper Allgäu. It is centrally located in the village.

Gasthof ZUM HIRSCH offers cosy guest rooms, an original restaurant and a beautiful, shady chestnut garden.
We offer single, double and multi-bed rooms as well as apartments. The rooms are comfortably furnished in Bavarian style.

Enjoy the summer evenings in our newly designed rose garden.
The kitchen offers regional, Bavarian and international dishes. And if you have any special wishes for the kitchen and cellar, they will be gladly fulfilled at the Hirsch.
Fritz Kast, a well-travelled chef, conjures up international specialities even in the deepest Allgäu.

Fritz Kast
is a graduate of the Steigenberger Hotelakademie and is also a member of the IHK commission, a member of the GAD (Gastronomische Akademie Deutschland) and the Union Internationale des Anciens Elevens des Ecoles Hotelieres PARIS.

Heidi Kast
the good soul of the house, captivates with her friendly manner and warm hospitality - takes care of all the guests' affairs of the heart and ensures a beautiful feel-good ambience.

Rainer Kast
trained chef, co-owner and successor, is the master of the kitchen. He prepares regional and international dishes, always seasonal and fresh. He will be happy to advise you on menu selections and events, from aperitifs to desserts.

Stephan (Django) Kast
is, among other things, responsible for your physical well-being of the liquid kind.
