Sindlingen Castle in Jettingen-Sindlingen is both a holiday hotel and a riding school.

It offers a wide range of activities all year round - and not just horse-related.

You stay in the castle, not with battlements and towers, but rather in a venerable, approx. 500 year old, large country house. It is surrounded by a moat and lined with old trees, which already form part of the park, which opens up to the south and merges into the riding arena.

Our rooms have been individually adapted and modernised over the years to meet the needs of our guests, while always respecting and retaining the character of our house. In addition to single and double rooms, family and youth rooms are also available. The best thing to do is to ask us about your individual requirements and we will be happy to make you an offer.

Our kitchen offers freshly prepared regional dishes every day. We prepare a menu for our hotel guests at lunchtime as well as in the evening. Visitors to the restaurant can choose between the dishes on our menu, the menu of the day or can also take part in the hotel guests' menu.

In addition to wines from the region, we have a small selection of international wines in our castle cellar.

At weekends we serve coffee and homemade cakes in the afternoon. This is also possible during the week by prior arrangement.

Our rooms and kitchen are also available for your celebrations. Celebrate in our hall, in our hunting room or, weather permitting, in our beautiful courtyard. Just get in touch with us!

Our riding school is ideal for riders and all those who want to become riders, it is very diverse. We offer something for everyone: For holiday guests, the intensive courses are available as a basic programme for beginners or for further training and preparation for rides and an advanced programme with a focus on dressage or jumping. The weekly course is the continuation of the intensive courses. The ‘crowning glory’ of the course programme is the maxi course, a two-week training programme.

The castle is situated on the plateau of the Oberes Gäus, between Schönbuch and the Black Forest. With its open, hilly landscape at an altitude of almost 600 metres, the Gäu offers wonderful terrain for riding and hiking. You can see far across the countryside to the heights of the Swabian Alb in the south and the Black Forest in the west.
