Hotel Gasthaus Kranich Saalburg

Saalburg-Ebersdorf is a town in the Saale-Orla district in the Thuringian Vogtland, situated on the Bleilochstausee, the largest reservoir in Germany. In our hotel, you will reside in charmingly decorated and furnished guest rooms and suites, some with a balcony, roof terrace or bay window.

All rooms have comfortable seating, shower/WC (some with bathtub).

You can stay in our 13 guest rooms or

in our 3 new holiday apartments and 2 bungalows.

With our high-quality modern holiday apartments, we were able to expand the overnight accommodation capacity of our hotel in 2019. The new holiday apartments are located in a renovated building about 300 metres away and can accommodate 12 people. This makes them ideal for your family reunion or for couples and groups of friends.

Our house also includes two

cosy bungalows in the immediate vicinity of the hotel with TV, telephone and internet access, as well as a fascinating view of the Bleilochstausee.

In our restaurant, which has direct access to the terrace and winter garden, we offer you our house speciality, our Kranichpfännchen. The tender sirloin in white wine cream sauce with spicy meat is baked with Maigauda in a pan. The homemade beef roulade with handmade original Thuringian dumplings is another speciality of our restaurant.

In addition to these two specialities, we offer you a wide selection of other dishes.

These include, among other things, our wide range of fish specialities from the region.

Our restaurant has two dining rooms with space for approx. 45 people each. Furthermore, we offer you a terrace and a winter garden for approx. 50 people each, with a wonderful view of the largest reservoir in Germany.
