Welcome to the HOTEL ALTE RHEINMÜHLE in Büsingen am Hochrhein.

The small, charming property with its 16 rooms is one of the hotel treasures along the High Rhine. On a high culinary course, the chefs of the house prepare seasonal delicacies from the best ingredients of the region - from forest, meadows and river.

The Hotel Alte Rheinmühle is made for people who appreciate a small, fine, different hotel with first-class service. Very private, very familiar at the same time, our guests can devote themselves entirely to the idyll on the Rhine and to being completely cared for.

After complete renovation in 2004, the house offers 16 distinctive rooms. With antique furniture from the 18th century and at the same time very high-quality technical equipment as well as beautiful terracotta bathrooms, the charm of the past and modernity find a perfect balance.

Let yourself be seduced by a dreamlike, sensual experience on the banks of the Rhine. Within historic walls, revitalised by people who have made it their business to pamper guests according to all the rules of hospitality. Yes, you can watch young, jumping Rhine grayling, watch passing swans and enjoy a stylish menu with a bottle of Blauburgunder from the Büsinger vineyard. Our hotel restaurant borders directly on the waters of the Rhine, which is still young and crystal clear here.

The gourmets of the region already know it: the focus of our fine bourgeois cuisine has recently moved even more in the direction of a creative, innovative basic attitude. Rich in finesse and the very best ingredients from the region, with a seasonal focus as well as selected international wines - our chefs will also make you indulge.

And for guests who, for example, only want to stop in for a short break in the afternoon or at off-peak times, we are very happy to provide coffee and cake or something from the small menu.

By the way, we have been awarded 13 Gault-Millau points.

Summers are too short in this country. It's too seldom that you sit outside in the evening. That's why you should definitely stop by our dream spot by the water at this time of year. The chestnut garden is the perfect place for a glass of wine at sunset or a spontaneous business lunch.
Here we also organise aperitifs, wedding ceremonies or other events in connection with seminars and conferences in our house.
