In the heart of the Volcanic Eifel, far away from the hustle and bustle, you will find the Heidsmühle: a fantastically situated complex on the banks of the Kleine Kyll, equally attractive for day trips and holidays. Our bright and lovingly furnished rooms offer you wonderful peace and quiet and an unforgettable view of the romantic valley of the Kleine Kyll. All rooms are accessible via the lift, non-smoking and equipped with shower, WC, TV and direct dial telephone. Some rooms have a balcony.

Whether for a cosy coffee break, a hearty lunch or a romantic dinner - you will feel at home with us. Home-baked cakes and freshly caught trout from the Mühlbach stream are among the specialities on offer, prepared with a focus on using local produce. Don't you sometimes just want to switch off and forget the stress of everyday life? Here's our recipe: after a hearty dinner and a walk around the Mühlweiher pond, treat yourself to a cool, freshly tapped beer and then go to bed until you wake up the next morning to the sound of the Mühlbach stream.

The Heidsmühle in Manderscheid is known far beyond the borders of the Volcanic Eifel as a popular excursion destination for coach tours. The recognised good cuisine with its own confectionery and efficient service always endeavour to ensure the well-being of our guests. Variable guest rooms and a spacious, partly heated garden terrace can easily accommodate larger groups.

Nestled in the valley of the Kleine Kyll, it is romantically situated and an ideal resting point for hikers, bikers and nature lovers, who have the Eifelsteig and the Lieserpfad, the ‘most beautiful hiking trail in the Eifel’, right ‘under their noses’. The Bettenfeld Volcano Adventure Park, the Windsborn Crater (the only crater lake north of the Alps) and the Meerfelder Maar are not far away.
