The half-board restaurant invites you to enjoy culinary delights, as does the à la carte Engelstube restaurant with delicious specialities from the Bregenzerwald. As guests of our hotel, it is your privilege to enjoy the Engel with all its culinary facets to the full. For our house guests we offer our half-board with a rich breakfast buffet with organic corner and dinner menu with 4-5 courses. And for our out-of-town guests we serve regional specialities in our à la carte restaurant Engelstube. For our house guests we naturally offer all-round catering. Enjoy traditionally prepared dishes in an atmospheric setting, in the cosy parlour or in our restaurant.

Along rushing streams, across lush alpine meadows to unique vantage points - you can explore the landscape, fauna and flora of the Bregenzerwald on over 2000 kilometres. Mellau's location at the foot of the Kanisfluh makes it an ideal base camp. Leisure activities are offered along the Bregenzerach at numerous streams and waterfalls. The swimming pool in the heart of Mellau also promises a refreshing dip from the end of May to the beginning of September. The insider tip par excellence: the Bregenzerwald. Whether leisurely or challenging, the Bregenzerwald offers something for everyone across the board. Cycle through the unique world of the Bregenzerwald to special viewpoints and cosy mountain huts.

Experience the largest ski area between Arlberg and Lake Constance and let yourself be spoilt by Austrian hospitality. Enjoy days in a snow-covered and unique panorama. The ski pass is valid in 31 ski areas in the Bregenzerwald, the Grosses Walsertal, the Tyrolean Lechtal and Balderschwang (Allgäu). 132 cable cars and lifts on a total of 332 kilometres of pistes ensure real fun on the slopes. We offer you heaven on earth. The new Mellaubahn with 10-seater gondolas has a transport capacity of over 3,100 people per hour and offers a wide range of facilities at the bottom station: sports shop, café with terrace and après-ski, ski hire, ski depot, workshop, ski school and ticket hall. The mountain station also houses a supervised guest kindergarten.

Directly in the hotel you will find a small but nice sauna to relax and unwind.
