Our large dining room offers space for up to 100 people. It also serves as a breakfast room for our house guests. Dance and folklore evenings are also organised here. The wine cellar is also well stocked with exquisite wines from Franconia, and beer lovers will appreciate our beer from the Friedmann brewery in Gräfenberg. Our home-style Franconian cuisine with seasonal and regional specialities will also convince you. Our rooms are tastefully furnished and present themselves with rustic charm. Obertrubach lies in the heart of Franconian Switzerland, 450 metres above sea level. Easily accessible and yet quietly situated, it nestles in the narrow Trubach valley, surrounded by forests and meadows, with a marked network of hiking trails of over 200 kilometres, including a ‘Therapeutic Hiking Trail’. In the village you will find a grocery shop, a bakery, several cafés and a doctor. Obertrubach is also a charming place in winter

Well-marked hiking trails, including the well-known Franconian Trail, lead right past our house. Unspoilt nature experiences, a paradise for climbers and hikers, golf, minigolf, horse riding, fly fishing - enjoy the countless possibilities for your holiday. We will be happy to give you tips for your perfect day!

In addition to many regular private guests who regularly spend a few days' holiday with us, we also have many tour groups who come to our house again and again. Our hotel is therefore ideal for hiking groups, groups of senior citizens, club outings or even company outings. We also work very successfully with numerous travel agencies and tour operators.
